Good work, Rafa. I am always happy when I see fellow naturalists focussing on gulls. Mediterranean Gull is one of the most handsome gulls of all. I have not seen many of them but it has always delighted me, as do your pictures. Un fuerte abrazo mi amigo, Rafa.

Larus melanocephalus is a bird that can be seen frequently in winter in this part of Spain, but in numbers much lower than the gulls L. michahellis, L. fuscus, Chroicocephalus ridibundus, although apparently the number of specimens is increasing on the north coast of Spain (Atlantic Ocean), however on the Mediterranean coast there are abundant colonies in winter.
